7. Night Shots – Photography for Dummies

People often think that sometimes lose their color when they are dark, but this is only because of how the human eye, the color is like living in the evenings when they were in the daytime. Night shots can be dramatic and beautiful, but they also can be difficult to shoot.
This is one of my favorite photos. Night shots can reveal the true colors that a city has to offer.
When you going to do a shot of the night, your shutter speeds will generally be anywhere from 5 seconds, 30 seconds long (maybe more if you include the “mode” bulb). This is to let as much light. Because of very slow shutter speeds, a tripod is a must. When you take a picture, try to achieve at least that you can shakyness. To do this, do not just use a tripod, but using one remote, or the camera’s self timer option. Try to stay do not use the shutter button, because it will be easy to release a camera shake, and may damage the shot with the blurred lines of light. Set your camera on self timer, press the button, and leave until shooting is completed.
One other aspect of photography opening night. Has a very narrow opening can make the stars around the lights, which often can actually improve the image. Because when I took this picture, not just I want the entire bridge will be sharp and focused, but I also want the lights on it to get the star effect. Therefore, I set the aperture at f22 and shutter speed 30 seconds.
