Photoshop is 20 years old this year and to Adobe’s flagship product in 2010 is still debated standards that all other image manipulation software assessed. However, as with CS5, Elements of eight (and its predecessors) is still primarily the space in which to conduct complex, pixel-level adjustment of individual images. Although significantly less swollen than the full version of Photoshop, Elements still offers more functionality than many photographers – and ironically many professionals who really need it.
