Now, a source confirms to PEOPLE that Jonas, 15, and Gomez, 16, is one item that says, “They have been dating for months.” For weeks rumors have swirled that two of Disney Channel stars, Jonas Brothers, Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez’s boyfriend, who has dated. Evidence suggests that couples the near future. Gomez, who appears in the video Jonas Brothers’ “burning Up,” has been photographed skateboarding wearing Elvis Costello T-shirts, items which Jonas told PEOPLE was one of her favorite things. And Gomez is seen dancing with all three Jonas Brothers in the Disney Channel Games in Orlando, Florida, in March. A rep for the Jonas Brothers maintain there is no love. “They’re not boyfriend and girlfriend They’re friends. All the Jonas Brothers are friends with Selena.”
In April, Gomez told PEOPLE she was not bound. “Of course, boys on every girl’s mind, but I am only 15. I do not think I need a boyfriend right now. I have crushes and I go on dates … but young kids my age take things like that too seriously. ”
Dating debate was revived Wednesday when Rolling Stone published a photo that looked comfortable-Jonas and Gomez in the August edition of the magazine.
Dating or not, the couple have much in common: Beyond their celebrity, both Jonas and Gomez wear promise rings as a symbol of purity. Said Gomez: “That is something that we tied up.”
